We boarded the passenger train in historic Burke.

Winding through the barren countryside, our three car train crossed the river on the bridge and trestle.

After the bridge, we climbed the short grade.

While it was a good day for a train ride, those with cars were gassing up for their own Sunday drive.

Rumor has it that the local moonshiner has a nice fresh batch.

That’s one good reason to have a car, as the train doesn’t stop there!
