Passenger Cars

I only have two passenger cars on the J&B - a parlor car and a coach.

A group of us decided to model some more modern 1:20 passenger cars based upon the ET&WNC Azalea.

I stared with the parlor car "Camelia" - a take on the original.

This was a more modern passenger car with arched windows and vestibules.

I plated over the clerestory windows and added Garland ventilators.

In addition to the parlor car, I built a coach, also based upon passenger cars from the ET&WNC.

I originally started with a nominally scaled 1:22.5  coach, observation, and combine.   They are very short cars.

They are way too small for pulling behind a 1:20 locomotive, and really don't look that realistic behind a 1:22.5 locomotive.

They are just too tiny.   They ended up moving on to Ken Brunt's railroad in Pennsylvania.
