It’s no fun carrying these cars outside!
On a good day, I can barely carry one in each hand and then there’s the doors to deal with. Not only that, but you can’t stack them very well without damaging them.
One long boring meeting at work had me working out a design in my head. I wanted something that would be lightweight, stackable and able to carry at least four 30’ boxcars with one hand.
I headed over to the scrapbox and decided I could build it!
The trucks straddle the wood pieces and the little side rails help to keep them from tipping over. I had to put plastic end pieces over the wood, as the ends kept breaking.
